Christopher says....

Yesterday Christopher announced to me, "Mama, when I grow up I want to be a doctor for animals."

Then in the bath that night we spelled out the word "man", after spelling all the "an words" (tan, pan, ran, can....you get it?) We were replacing the first letter in front of the "an" to spell a new word, and he would sound it out and then say the word. I would pause for the word to register in his mind, then he would verbal recognize that he got it by saying, "Yeah like a can! Well then came "man." Christopher said "yeah like me....I'm a man!"
