Grandparents come - a - visitin'

Here are just a few great memories we made yesterday
as we introduced Christopher to his Grandma and Grandpa
Massey! What did they learn about eachother? Well just
a few highlights:
1. Always carry a spitup cloth when it's your turn to hold
the wee one......he's a lot like "Old Faithful," comes up every
10 minutes or so.
2. Grandpa either has a nose like a hound dog, or he's
had a little bit of experience with babies, and know's what
he's smellin' !! ( see #3)
3. "Blowout's," as they are called, can be quite full, stinky
and require bathing after 4 days of no poo-ing!!
4. Grandma's and Grandpa's have a lot of love to give, and
do so - unconditionally !
We already miss you guys....the house seems so quiet now.

"CR" @ 3 months

Just in case you did not know, Reed and I have been calling Christopher "CR" (short for Christopher Reed) since I was about 20 weeks pregnant, and knew he was a boy and that would be his name. Anyways, CR was 3 months old on the 19th. He's weighing in a 14 lbs now! We are have a blast witnessing all his new developments including, grabbing at anything in front of him, lots of baby talk, lots of laughing too! His hair continues to get longer and I'm wondering how long it will be before I break down and snip a bit of it ( it's real long around the ears) . We are so excited because tomorrow night we'll be picking up Grandma and Grandpa Massey and they'll be visiting for a day!

A friend's Wedding

Yesterday was a great day for a wedding! Our Friends were married and these pictures were taken at the reception at Scenic Beach State park in Seabeck, Washington. Christopher was so pooped from the long day, that he slept for 8 hours straight last night!!

My little Gardener

It was hot today, and my small herb garden and tomato plants were calling my name. CR and I were outside most the day giving my plants some much needed attention. Wouldn't ya' know a wheel barrel works great for hauling dirt and babies too!

Mom are we done weeding yet?

What a trooper he is!

Our Harvest

We planted tomato plants just before Christopher was born. So far we have harvested about 14 cherry tomatoes. This is just from today.

Ahh sweet success!

A family portrait

Here we are at Horseshoe Lake, by our house.

Playtime

At play time today CR hit a milestone. He's been liking this toy much better lately, and today he grabbed the green center musical note.....thus causing the music and lights to come on! Yipppee!
