Christopher Reed turned four this summer. He's getting so tall. He is going to preschool 3 mornings a week. He is just the best kid. He's a kind big brother to Gwenn and Eliza. As I've said, he will sit a talk to Eliza for lengthy periods and get her to smile and laugh. He's enjoying playing with Gwenn. "Come on Gwennie" He'll say! They play hide and seek, animal pretend and store. They build and take down. They chase each other and are pretty good at yelling at each other too! He's quite shy and reserved around strangers and people he knows too- just his personality I assume. He's a sweetie pie. His favorite thing to do is go to the library! It's like Christmas Morning!!! He gets incredibly excited to look through books and kids magazines about animals and dinosaurs. He asks lots of questions lately about the earth, sky, trees, dirt and water. "Where does all this stuff come from anyways?" We are figuring it all out together. Christopher remains a lover of all things animals! He has many and will categorize them all by area in which they live, what they eat and other things. He creates large zoos, where the animals have there own cages. He's a pro at making amazing train tracks and is so great at coloring. He's become very good at staying in the lines and more recently started drawing animals and coloring them.
All the kids love helping with anything! It really doesn't matter, as long as you can present it in such way that seems exciting- they are game! Lets fold laundry, scrub that toilet and sweep the floor! Both Gwenn and Christopher help me by putting away their clothes running back and forth between me folding the clothes, to their rooms. This is a fun game! Christopher if getting started helping set and clear the table too. They both enjoy helping cook with me at the kitchen table. Gotta be quick though, Gwenn dumped an entire container of tomato sauce on her tiny personal pizza last night!
Here are some pictures of Christopher at the Christmas tree farm and at his Gingerbread making party at school.
