Waiting...

Contractions were, I thought regular at 8-10 minutes apart. This started at 2 am and lasted 2 or more hours on 8/3. I woke up Reed and soon after, my Dad woke up too. He was staying at our place that night due to leave for Alaska the next morning. Here are the boys that night....... just waiting on me !!

And so after lying in bed with contractions for that long, I decided to see if things would change if I got up. They did! Only they slowed down to 15 min, then, 20, 25, 30 and 45. Darnit! And so Dad got off to the airport at 7 am. Reed was then able to drive with both kids to the airport to also pickup Auntie Beth, due in from Alaska to be here for the week. Contractions pretty much stayed all day, but were still about 30 minutes apart!! Yuk. So we waited......


And waited.......

And waited.......

Then everyone left to go get some groceries and I layed down, only to have contractions speed back up to 7-10 minutes! Yippee! Reed, Beth and kiddos got home and soon after we left for the hospital when contractions were 5 minutes apart. I was dilated to a 7 when we got there just after 4 pm- yippee! Eliza was born at 6:13 in the bath again (like Gwenn). Whew!
