We have had a few stretches of beautiful crisp winter days here. It's been warm enough to play and work outside for hours. I love that Gwenn is old enough now to walk around herself outside. She's everywhere too. She'll go anywhere that Christopher goes and wants to scale every hill and tree stump that she can. I love taking my kiddos outside to play and get dirty. I remember getting very dirty outside growing up - it was fun! Gwenn gets into Christopher's old Carhart overalls and skooches down the hills on her butt. They both dig around in the dirt where I'm working. Christopher and I both keep an eye on Gwenn's intake of rocks and dirt. Christopher's wonderful at protecting his sister and telling Mommy what's up if I happen to not catch her into trouble. Christopher collects all the earthworms that Mommy digs up and feeds them to his "baby T-rex's" in their nest. Anyways the fresh air does us all good and everyone sleeps hard after a day out at play.

I have to say Annie that I have a hard time imagining you getting dirty even as a kid - despite two little kids I've never seen a spot (or wrinkle for that matter) on anything you wear:) We need to meet up at the park on a sunny day soon - it feels like I haven't seen you in forever!
