Pyromania

Sorry for the long delay. Warmer weather has drawn us all outdoors- outdoors to build this- a firepit area! Which I for one, am thrilled about! I love to sit around a fire and visit. It's one of my most favorite things to do in life! I guess it began when I was little. I enjoyed the time so much with my family and friends when a campfire was adult supervised that I also would start my own fires in the woods of Alaska as a little girl........uhhh..........I know scary huh? If your kids know where the matches are- chances are they have used them. I'm sure God was shaking his head looking out for me while I would gather leaves and branches and pile them up. Then I'd reach for my Mom or Dad's matches that I'd took and light'em'up! I'd see how easily I could start it up and burn some branches then quietly put the fire out. Weird huh? Anyways - I'm stoked (pun intended) to light one up here and start a family tradition of little pyromaniacs!!
Oh yeah - we also built this because we needed a place for the never ending pile of river rock - that still sits in our driveway.
