Went to the lodge this weekend and stayed 3 nights. Christopher and Reed golfed together; with CR putting on almost every hole. He loved it!! Christopher also swam with arm tubes in the pool and was able to stay afloat with them - a first in his book. Reed very patiently showed him how to kick his legs to move and talked with him about pool safety and such. Christopher still continues to enjoy water and is naturally brave in it. I was treated to an 80 minute massage at the spa- I highly recommend this! It was just the relaxation I've been needing. It was a gift for Mother's Day from my very thoughtful hubby!! And you throw all this into 3 nights of maid and restaurant service, late night lounging, ice cream, friends and family visiting, long walks and smores and you have a perfect 5 day family vacation!

So before we hopped in the car for the 3 hour road trip Christopher fell and planted his face into the concrete out front! Poor kiddo saw his head hours later in the mirror at our potty break and seemed really shocked, "Look at my ouchie on my head!!" He said.
This was pretty cute- he was digging into this bag full of smore ingredients, emptying them one by one while balancing the bag with one foot for help! I think my multitasking skills are rubbing off!
