A visit with your husband....

Yeah that's right....in order to see Reed we have to visit him....at work!

Reed and I have been 2 ships passing in the night until - last weekend while my Dad was here visiting. Reed was at work, so my Dad and I decided to go to the Zoo on the wrong day, when you could not find a parking spot anywhere, so we decided to drive back to Gig for a walk in the Harbor. It was a good enough plan, but as it turned out the kids fell asleep by the time we reached the exit, so we kept driving all the way to Bremerton where Reedie works. He's been working so hard with out a day off in weeks. He leaves for work at noon and gets in around 1 or 2 AM. Needless to say we are really missing Reed around here big time! Whenever I get near the shipyard I usually call to say, "Hi we are passing the yard now, but just wanted to say hello!" I called Reed this time too, only to get a surprise call back from him asking if we were still around and that he'd see us soon. He left work so we could all share a great dinner together- the first in weeks. It was such a blessing - Man I love that guy! Miss you babe!! This is when being spontaneous really pays off.
Here are some pictures of us walking thru the Naval Museum and near the ferry/shipyard.

That's a pretty snazzy way to carry around Gwenn! It seems like you'd need at least 2 people to get that thing tied without dropping her!

Love the Maya wrap for extended periods of holding....however it looks as if I'm about to choke her here!
