A shower for Gwenn

My very good friend LaRae hosted and evening baby shower at her house in honor of our Gwenn- Don't think I've even mentioned on the blog yet that we've named our baby girl Gwenn Elizabeth Massey. I can just hear Reed's sister "Beth" saying, "YES!" Elizabeth is on both sides, so it's fits just right! GEM are her initials- how cute is that? Anyways- LaRae and her Mom threw a beautiful "Mother Goose" themed party including Nursery rhymes to go with the food like cupcakes that said, "Pat-a-Cake", Chicken pot pies representing 4 and 20 blackbirds baked in a pie, twinkle twinkle little star-shaped sugar cookies. She even sewed a quilt for guests to write a nursery rhyme on with fabric pens. My favorite part was being in the same room with my favorite people in my life. Oh yeah and eating the food- Mmmmm!
