Life on the funny farm.....

Most every night Reed and Christopher go out to the garden and harvest what's "ready." This was one such evening's "take." Mmmmm. I'll be making our 3rd batch of salsa this week. Thanks to the great idea that Reed's sister Amy gave us to simply food process the salsa instead of cutting it yourself, and then freezing it instead of canning. What a time saver! Yippeee - more time that I could be re-arranging another room! :)

I'll title this: "The evening that I almost...... right in my toe!"

Say hello to our little friend. The one-eyed frog- or "prog" as Christopher calls them. "Prog Mama, prog!" He'll say. This one hangs out with about 4 others on our back patio. He loves to be on our patio door looking in with his one eye. This particular evening he, "let himself in," to our living room. We had BLTA"S that night and we cook our bacon on the George-Foreman outside on the patio. Well, one trip in or out and Mr. one-eye here, welcomed himself indoors. Christopher got a real good laugh at Daddy and Mama attempting to escort him back outdoors. Especially when Mr. Prog hopped and slapped his tiny cold body onto Reed's forearm before finally being "collected!" I wished I had that on video! Ribit!
