Once again, we headed south to visit My Dad and Denise. We Stayed a night at their place before heading back to the Skamania lodge for a couple of nights. We never seem to get enough of the Columbia River Gorge! Here are some pictures from our weekend.
Dad and Denise came out to the lodge to share in some dinner and dessert and we also checked out the Columbia River interpretive museum, which we had never done in all our trips out there and it was worth while! Reed was able to golf one morning - He seemed to enjoy himself despite the high winds through the gorge. Christopher enjoyed seeing the fireplace each time we entered the main lodge. He would say - "pop, pop" when we got near it and liked seeing the stuffed black bear, owl and duck they have on display. He says each of their names too! He also kept calling a large piece of drift wood "alligator" that was just above the main counter....this was funny- I guess that was his interpretation of what it looked like! It was also a weekend for saying "dude." We call him "dude" a lot and we say "dude" a lot...well this sentiment rubbed off on him this weekend, because he repeated "dude" all the time!! It was pretty cute!
I really learned just how much CR's has grown since our last visit because of how difficult he was to hold in the swimming pool. He was like an crocodile twirling around and around!! He just loves the water and really has no fear at all. He and Reed played real hard together- it's one of Reed's favorite ways of spending time with him - in the pool!!
I love this picture- this is SO our son- just the way he stands. He often has both hands clasped behind his back, and this particular pic- he's pointing up to the waterfall in the interpretive center.
Mama overly exaggerating just exactly how cool it would be to take a picture together. Christopher is looking up a Grandpa Hall way up on the 3rd floor at the Museum.
Mama, Christopher and Daddy in front of an old train or "choo-choo" -as Christopher would call it!
Having a blast with Daddy!!

You're kid is just too freakin cute. Ian hates it when my siblings have cute kid pics up because it makes me want babies. Oh well, I'm sure we can be selfish for a while.
