Good times....

Well I do seem to be a bit more dreamy late at night, so I thought I'd post. Especially since we have some recent pictures. Reed, Christopher and I spent a beautiful day at the beach last weekend. We've been experiencing some gorgeous spring-like weather here. Sunshine and blue skies!!

Christopher Reed is amazingly sleeping through his nights! Praise God!! It's a beautiful thing, now if I could just get to sleep earlier- silly me. Christopher is pulling himself up onto his knees and back down, flops on his back and rolls over. He like a fish out of water, just flopping around our floors where ever I happen to pop him down. He is eating like a champ. I've just started giving him finger foods and therefore picking finger foods up off the floor! Just today I handed him banana halves and carefully watched him devour the whole fruit! He was a sticky mess, but he seems to show this independent side lately when it comes to eating. I don't know, maybe it's teething, but he does not like me spoon- feeding him. It's a crack up too, because I'll prepare his usual pureed menus while he's munching on finger food and start to move toward his mouth with the spoon and his little eyes wince up and he grunts and stiffens up. Perhaps the spoon bothers his little gums or he just wants to do it himself now that I've opened up that window of opportunity.....anyways always a interesting challenge and change. He also has been more cuddly lately. He has never been a baby to cuddle with. There's too much to see, touch, hear etc. But lately he'll drop his head into my shoulder and chest, and stay for a mere second. Hey, I'll take all I can get. This millisecond is priceless considering his past non-nuzzling personality. We love him so much- just can't get enough!! My cup runneth over.

Reed and I are great! We're enjoying mornings together as he's on swing shift. His project is about to go critical, so days and hours are vamping up, Which means Christopher and I will be helping him out here on home base. My Dad and Denise will be here tomorrow afternoon for a night. It's been a couple of months since we've last seen them and I'm very excited for the visit. I better get myself to bed!!!!!
