Yesterday was a big day for Christopher which went a little like this.....First, Reed wanted to give Christopher his first hair cut ( which he needed ) and I was reluctant, in fact- very reluctant! Against my better judgement I tried being open and accepting of the fact that CR was due for this haircut and I stood by witnessing Reed snip a bit of our baby's hair. Next came the water works, as I began crying tears ( from I don't know where? ) Again, I say - I was VERY RELUCTANT! I could tell Reed did not have the skills necessary to complete this "do" just right and apparently Reed did too, because he quickly said "Go call your salon." (No doubt due to his wife's tears) Anyways.....I'm glad the tears came at home instead of the salon. Here are some pictures of Christopher getting his hair cut. He was a good sport through and through.
Oh, yes and the week before we had quite a hailstorm. It looked as if it had snowed. Afterward God sent us a beautiful rainbow in our back yard. This is a video clip of it - you'd could see the whole rainbow end-to-end!
Christopher's Grandpa Hall returned to Washington this week from his summer in Alaska. We are very glad to have his close by again.....as is his wife!!! It was great seeing them. It had been two months since we last saw my Dad.

Wow, what a wild week for you guys! I like the title to the post. And I am glad everyone recovered from the hair cutting episode! I cannot believe how much hair CR has! Isaac has a mullet that we should trim into a regular haircut one of these days. Maybe we will let it grow into a full hockey mullet!
We also got your package today, thanks for that little outfit, we will have Isaac wear it this Sunday, and thanks for the lollipops also!! David loved them!!
I'll call you guys in the next couple days!
Hi Annie and family, I cant believe how fast CR is growing and that he needs a haircut already. That first pic of him getting the cut is sooo cute--his expression is so funny. Im glad that everything is going well with you guys. Have a great week.
You should have permed CR's hair. He would have a sweet afro. Wish my kids had that much hair when they were young.

Hey girl, I actually cried reading your account of the tears at haircut time. I remember my own kids first cuts, and have those locks still. Plus, to see you with a baby...still can't get over my Annie being a mommy! But you look so happy, and I am thrilled for you. Thanks for the blog and letting us into your lives! Much love, Linda and the family
